if anyone on here is working at System76, could you not have just forked Xorg and used that instead

after cosmic's wayland compositor ripped my mouselook away from me in WoW for the 80 umpteenth time, I've installed GNOME on Xorg, fuck this lol

I'm sure Wayland works great for some, but my experience with it being through Pop!_OS: I hate it with a passion, it's the worst thing that's ever been developed for Linux
