A lot of people in Second Life hate it when I say this, but creators (store owners) in SL can make their products whatever permissions they want
If this makes people want to steal from them (with botting software), it’s still the customer who is in the wrong.
Creators in SL are already selling

And even if they ARE making money in a real way, it’s still THEIR work, that they can do with as they please.
