it's interesting, because for all intents and purposes, this should at least be somewhat borked up
but it kind of just acts like my old mastodon was offline for a year and now it's back

I haven't noticed any severe issues with resurrecting a domain on the fediverse that was once a Mastodon instance, or maybe that's because this instance software is using Mastodon endpoints
