Haven't ever really showed this off much, but I wanted to show how this post looks on my website where I'm ingesting and archiving everything I post.
I've basically hand-built a one-way social network

Why do I ingest everything I post on Bluesky, Mastodon (Akkoma), and a few other sites?
Because the Twitter problem is never going to happen again (wherein I lost 20,000+ posts of my entire history online)

And I accomplish this with nothing more than the RSS feed that's provided by most social networks

But in order to accomplish making it actually look like a social media post, I have to deconstruct it, rebuild it into something that can be displayed on my site, and then have it be posted.
So, a TON of javascript, liquid, and python

Some trolls on this site have made jabs at my "linux enjoyer" bit in my bio, but it is not a stretch by any sense of the word
I probably know more than you about some stuff, and that's okay
