I was harassed on a daily basis. This is not an exaggeration. I was slurred, talked about behind my back, or insulted right to my face, sexually harassed, groped, and all-around treated extremely poorly. After a year and a half, this traumatized me, and I left the job.

decided to go back into the closet, and return to work after having the worst panic attack of my life. As far as anyone offline is concerned, I'm just back to being a guy. But I haven't felt so numb and dead inside, ever, in my whole life, even before transition. So, I have my online spaces

And despite everything I've done, nobody really knows anything about me anymore. Which is no surprise. Most of the friends I had back over the 2010s to 2020 are gone. Some of them developed bad politics and ghosted me. Some of them simply vanished.

Some of them are exes who are posting on Bluesky right now as if I never existed and am dead. Some of them are Laurelai Bailey, who used, abused, and manipulated me for 5 whole years.

When a queer community men's rights activist calls me a "transmisandrist" I take that personally, because I've been through more than any cis or trans man will ever know, or experience, and I don't know how I'm alive. But I'm here, and I persist.
