I know it's blasphemous to go against the grain in Second Life, but I wish shopping events were more like something organized by different stores coming together, rather than some land owners who are trying to profit off of people's work (which is already extremely cheap, in most cases)

Like, you have ACCESS, which, sure, does a lot for exposure.
But also? It's invite only, it hosts a bunch of stores that are using generative AI for products (which should be against the ToS if it isn't already), and I think even after an invite, you gotta pay THEM

Imagine if you got invited to play a concert as a musician at a bar or something, and you get there, and the owner of the bar's like, "Okay, so, I'm going to need you to pay me a thousand bucks to setup and play"

Albeit, I do have my stores participating in events, and I do pay to be there
I just think ...
it's kinda weird
