After that, I got into a bit of a dire situation, and I did what I swore to myself I would never do. I went "back" into the closet, and back to Walmart. I've been hiding myself for 5 years.

These things probably do not do anything to help an anxiety disorder, but you do what you gotta do, right?

and I have a mega anxiety disorder. It sucks. I think it was always something I've had, but it was for sure capitalized when I worked for Walmart in 2012-2014, when I came out as trans, and I was pushed around, harassed, and bullied by everyone from coworkers to management

I spent a little over 4 years after that working on a little store in Second Life (that makes like ... 10 dollars a month USD), and then I spent a couple more years making around 20+ retro/darksynth albums. Hey, one of them was even a bestseller for a little bit.

Anyway, flash forward to a couple of weeks ago, I have a panic attack ... at work. And my bosses, the higher-ups, "offer" me an alternative. To move me to another department where anxiety might not affect me so much. At the time, I was stressed, so I was just kinda like "... okay"

But then I had a few days off, and they had said "Yeah, you can stay where you are if you want" because I do LIKE where I'm working now. But on those days off I was like "I don't actually want to move to this other position I've never been interested in"

So I tell them that, and they tell me, now, they can't "reverse" anything. I'm heading into a position I don't want, have never been interested in, have no experience in, and am going in without any idea what I'm facing. I'd rather not do that. I _want_ to leave, and pursue contract work
