there's so much internet history that nobody's learning from because it's hidden in a million tumblr blogs and livejournal, so every once in a while we get "reverse oppression is real" again for the 49th time in a decade

Tbh I like that women have subverted it for satirical reasons, and use it to parody, and the fact that it's not a real thing is exactly the point/why it works in that context. It gives women and perceived women an outlet to be like "yeah I hate men and idgaf."
