I've exported an archive of everything I've posted here thus far, to my hdd, as Jekyll templated files that I can setup on my website

I _almost_ have a script exporting all my mastodon posts to jekyll templated markdown files
my bash script is just ... refusing to correctly expand the directory i'm exporting them to because the path is really long lol

I'm attempting to follow Gabriel's filename syntax so that I can export with the creation date of each toot as part of the filename, but it fails every single time, acting like it has no idea what --filename is supposed to do

alright, here is my first toot on mastodon.online, backed up to my website, converted to a jekyll file, and now displaying on my page!

now using python to auto-syndicate each toot displayed on the website with a link back to its original here on mastodon.online
