Notes - page 4
A compendium of each note posted directly to the site. Like social media posts, but written by hand, down to the HTML. My new single/EP is now up on Apple Music, and Spotify. Hotel Hell: CEO walks in I have all my favorite items on the menu, like ground fish sticks and hairy Brussels sprouts, and my hotel rooms are replica dirty toilet bowls. Help me Gordon my family is dying I’m so close to turning my website into a single user social media platform, that, literally, the only thing I’ve got left as the biggest hurdle is figuring out how to post to the site from my phone, with little effort. About as improbable as connecting Jekyll to ActivityPub, but I will do it. the one cool thing about using the distrokid secondary yearly sub for artists, is I am now my own label
I was auto-traveling in #KingdomComeDeliverance2 and I got stopped by wolf attacks on a group of travelers. So … basically, both of those travelers got chased off, and/or died to the wolves, so I stole the horse they left behind. And it’s just been with me ever since?
Newly released today, after almost a year and a half, a brand new single / EP from Yours Truly, Eyeshadow 2600 FM, BOOT CMD. For Patrons over on Patreon, the album is up and ready to download. For everyone else, head on over to Bandcamp! Link: BOOT CMD
POV: You’re a tech-bro with the intelligence of a rock, posting enthusiastic algorithmically stolen content on your social timeline
Hello Pillowfortnite, it’s been a little while since I’ve posted here, and that’s mostly because I’m constantly scattering back and forth between social websites due to the fact that, once Twitter died, I kind of lost my feeling of centrality on the internet. I think I’ve got the handle on that though, because, even though I post here, I post on ActivityPub, I post on Bluesky, you know, I’ve been running a website this whole time. So, what I did was, is I decided to make my website the central place of balance of my internet presence. In that, along with blog posts on the main feed on the site itself, it now also features “notes” and “logs. Notes are basically social media posts that I’ve written directly onto my website, as well, with links to their social media counterpart (as if it’s syndicated), and logs are just me posting changelogs about my site. It creates this unique kind of opportunity to turn my website into my own personal social feed. … if only I could figure out an easy way to create a note, build it via Jekyll, and then push it to github and then Neocities … via my phone! I know one way I could do this, but it’s kind of a major project to setup, and I’ve got this feeling in my brain juice that I could probably think of an even easier way to do it. Maybe. is it strange to still mourn a cat you had for 14 years, also years after she passed |
