I like watching shows that take place in the 50s cause you can see all the massive houses random people used to own that you could only dream of now

I think it’s hard to make new connections online, because social media has been around for such a long time now, and so have the people using it, and then you know, people develop these expectations in their heads that they’re looking for in every single person they interact with

And I think I’ve finally decided that’s nuts, and also sucks ass?

I think it’s time for me to stop paying for Second Life premium and, since most store sales (or all of them) happen on the marketplace (the website), I can just stop having a place in-world

I don’t like SL that much anymore, and OpenSim is much more intriguing

downloaded Delta Force on my phone and apparently it’s not like the 90s game, it’s an extraction shooter

Anyway I dodged bullets from a bunch of 13 y/os and extracted with a ton of loot

I definitely still can’t get hold of Cities Skylines. The game told me to build a canal

So I did

And I accidentally flooded my whole city and ran out of money

We are living in one of the worst of times, and a lot of people are in the worst of their head-spaces, and you have to protect your head-space, because a lot of people will try to wreck it

I think a good exercise for a lot of people online is to remember and keep repeating to yourself, that the people scrolling by on the timeline are not people you know, and you shouldn’t just speak to everyone as if you do know them and they share your ideals
