I think I'm wanted for murder now, or stealing a Lute, one of the two
Not even sure if that's something that you can wait out or if I've doomed my whole save file lol

I snuck into a guy's house in Kingdom Come 2, closed all the doors, killed the man, stole his clothing and replaced my bloody clothing with his clothing, and then walked out of town like nothing happened

Got killed by wolves on the road because I don't know how to effectively get them away from me, and alas, I'm thrown back to the beginning of my quest before any murder took place

You'll get branded a criminal when caught, but you can wait out the brand once you actually have it
You can also just do a speech check against the guards if it's for the theft
