This is sort of the lived trajectory for me. Teens were a living hell I can barely remember. Twenties, the same, and even poorer. Thirties were okay, lost the back half. Now I'm 40 and it's like - well fuck me running. They'll steal every last breath.

40 isn’t so old! although i can appreciate how surreal and grim it must feel. those bad days that led you to the present are truly horrific, but you’re moving forward at a pace good for you!! i really appreciate and admire that.
