Second Life people: I’ve taken my store down in world, and stopped paying linden labs for land, but now that I’ve done this, I feel like I want to remain in SL but I don’t know how to do that without paying for a “home”

Testing webp image conversion when my site ingests my bsky posts

A story in 2 screenshots

Landlords don't build, they leech.

Get a real job. like streaming on Twitch, or posting good on social media

It would be neat if there were a list of community run/public relays others are using here on Bluesky, but due to how much a relay would cost to host, I'm assuming there aren't many

Now that I understand how a PDS works, how to set one up, and what that means irt Bluesky, it's kind of wild how easy it was?

It kind of feels like Mastodon should be like this too, but without the Bluesky, "we're funded by a crypto company" vibes

Need to test functionality of uploading an image to my PDS

on this server you are allowed to say "jk rowling can suck on a whole bag of pickles and fart"

Today on NovaLandia: I launched and setup a PDS, and then migrated my main Bluesky account to my own server, where I hold and am only responsible for, my own data.

@ap.brid.gy stop

@ap.brid.gy start

oh wait, i fixed it

this invalid handle issue on a PDS is a massive pain in the ass lol

Invalid handle seems like an issue, but may be due to DNS propagation

Because, after-all, I am able to post

I've migrated this account to my own, self-hosted PDS, and this is a test post to confirm that it worked (after the egregiously long post import function I have in a shell script lol)

Bluesky, Decentralized? Switching to a PDS
