I’ll never understand why corporate social media like Twitter and Threads put other people’s statuses into your notifications

It’s so confusing, and it shows up on your phone as if they’re talking to YOU, and it doesn’t make me (irt Threads) want to interact with that person

I spend some time wondering how anyone on here gets mass amounts of follows, and then I see the big accounts and they’re posting content and ideas I would slap myself for having and sharing
