[Second Life] Neo Machina is OnlineFollow me via: After a lot of deliberating and deciding, since I’m not really capable of just throwing ten years of work in the trash and forgetting about it, and because I’ve had months of work I did in 2023 kind of just … offline, in Second Life: Neo Machina is back online. And I know what you’re thinking, “Isn’t this the third time you’ve turned it back on?” It is. Neo Machina was originally something I built as a replacement to the old Neo Machina that once existed back in the 2010-2020 era, and eventually went offline, never to return. I was a little upset about this, because it was one of the coolest places to visit, and one of my favorite places. So, I did what any normal person would do, and I bought a homestead from Linden Labs, and rebuilt it. In my own vision. Except this version, alongside laser-tag, an arcade, a nightclub, an apartment skyrise, a swimming pool, plus more! This version also has my store, because of course it does. I wouldn’t call it the most amazing thing ever made. It’s kind of shoddy and low-res in some places, and there’s some filler I have sitting around that awaits a full region upgrade, which would afford me even more building space. But … you don’t do that, unless you have 200+ USD per month you’re willing to blow. Which I don’t, and am not! It’s fine though. I feel like the main reason I’ve been wanting to quit and leave Second Life and my store behind, is because having my own entire region was my biggest goal, and getting rid of it, well, back-stepping just sucks. It sucks ass. So, as long as I have an income, Neo Machina will live. Come on over and visit!
