Recuperating What Was Lost, and Rebuilding: Part 5Follow me via: Quite some time ago, we’ll say … around 2018, I think? I had a very active Discord server, specifically centered around facilitating a space for trans people to gather, chat, and game. This lasted for months and there were zero issues. But, with having a community of any sort related to the trans community, also comes Laurelai Bailey. As most probably know by now, if there’s a position of “power” that she can grasp, she’ll damned well try. And she did. But, this is also related to my entanglement in relation to her, and the manipulation, and abuse that she caused over the course of almost a decade. Suffice to say, and without expanding too much on this post on a topic I’m not sure I really want to, at the moment, that server is gone. Has been gone for a long time. This has to do with the aforementioned bad-actor’s friends, and people close to those friends, posting bannable material in a NSFW channel on the server, and banned they got, directly by me. I received threats from Bailey, and in an act of naivety and anxiety, I deleted the whole server. Some of the members condemned me for banning people over posting lolicon, others disappeared into the void. I know now that all of this was completely ridiculous, abusive, disgusting, and may well just have been the beginning of my severing from any community I had in trans related spaces, via the hands of Laurelai Bailey. Because I banned her friends for posting pedophilic-adjacent content in my server. After I managed to get away from her back around 2020, I’ve spent years trying to rebuild. Even if my entire offline persona is of someone who’s functionally back in the closet, hiding. Years, though, and I’m still rebuilding. I, of course, have the things I do, which are little more than hobbies right now, due to my offline job. But I still make music, I still update things in my Second Life store, and I still write. I’ve got a whole book I want to get finished. The whole reason I’m really writing this though, is because I have a Discord server that I resurrected in around 2023, and it’s amassed a very modest amount of people, and at the moment it’s not very active. The server is partially centered around the things I do, and my work, and of course, finding support for it. But, it’s also centered around trying to grasp at rebuilding that community I once lost. So, I’ve got this combination … support my work, and also let’s play some World of Warcraft in an LGBTQ+ safe environment, type of thing going here. But it’s been a couple of years, and it’s tough to get things off the ground, especially when your entire online presence has been tainted and ruined by an FBI informant, cult leader. I’m doing this, because there are people in my server whom I want to provide an actual space to engage with, and I can’t really do that on my own too well. Especially with having this offline job that sometimes demands way too much of my time. So, like I did with my forum (which is also connected to the Discord), I’m going to post an invite link, here: https://discord.gg/YB6YWgZfpf and if you’re interested, you should join. Maybe we’ll do some dungeons in World of Warcraft, or we can make a Minecraft server, whatever! Either way, thank you for reading, and maybe I’ll see you there?
